UPDATE: Facemasks are encouraged but not currently required inside Union Station

Mask Update Effective Monday, August 2

In accordance with the new Kansas City, MO, mask mandate, effective Monday, August 2, masks covering both the nose and mouth must be worn at all times in all indoor spaces at Union Station by all guests ages five and older.

The mandate includes Union Station, Science City,  the Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium, Extreme Screen Theatre,  Auschwitz Exhibition, and all Union Station attractions.

The new mandate is effective from 12:01 am on Monday, August 2, through at least 12:01 am. on Saturday, August 28 (now November 4)

Full face shields are an acceptable alternative in the case of disabilities or medical conditions preventing a face mask from being worn.
