KidFEST Schedule

Dinosaurs in your Backyard | 10:00 – 4:30 PM
Location: Dino Lab
Guests will be tour the dino lab to learn more about the fossils that can be found here in Kansas and Missouri, and will be able to explore volcano and earthquake models.

Community Helpers | 10:00 – 4:30 PM
Location: PNC Learning Lab
Young learners can think about who they want to be when they grow up as they design their very own paper doll helper based on firefighters, veterinarians, doctors, and more!

Collaborative Sculpture | 10:00 – 4:30 PM
Location: Creative Corner
Decorate interlocking cardboard shapes to create a collaborative sculpture through the day. This project will encourage collaboration as the Science City community builds something together!

Collaborative Clothing Weaving | 10:00 – 4:30 PM
Location: Maker Studio
Help the Maker Studio Create a large weaving Tapestry using recycled pieces of clothing.

The finished piece of artwork will be displayed in the new exhibit in the Maker studio after being converted into a giant light fixture!

PNC Mobile Learning Adventure | 10:00 – 4:30 PM
Location: Haverty Family Yard
Brought to you by PNC Bank, the Mobile Learning Adventure is a traveling exhibit that provides the opportunity for parents to learn about the importance of early childhood education, while allowing children to think about what they want to be when they grow up through fun, hands-on activities.
